Only 2% of BC people trust polls March 2012 A story in today's Vancouver Sun screams the headline "Mistrust of police highest in BC, Poll finds". It goes on to say that "just 27% of B.C. residents have faith in the RCMP while only 28% have confidence in their municipal police forces." Read more..

March 2012 As I watch, read and listen to coverage of a coroner inquest in B.C. into the death of Alvin Wright I have to say I am astonished by some of the comments being made, particularly by lawyers and civil libertarians. Police were called to the residence three times by Wright's girlfriend that night, and attended to investigate a domestic disturbance. Read more... |

They've taken a lot of hits in the media lately, some justified and some not, and perhaps Lacey thought he could jump on that bandwagon and use it to his advantage.
